Suite 646 is an independent magazine published in New York. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit suite646.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What We Collect
Your email address, if you give it to us. When you sign up for The Late Edition newsletter, we collect the email address you enter. That is the only personal information we ask you for.
Basic technical information. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. We use this only to run and protect the site.
What we do not collect. We do not run advertising, we do not use analytics or tracking tools, and Suite 646 does not set its own cookies.
How We Use It
We use your email address only to send you The Late Edition and occasional Suite 646 updates. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Services We Rely On
A few trusted services help us run the site. Each one handles data under its own privacy policy.
Netlify hosts suite646.com and stores newsletter sign ups through Netlify Forms.
Google Fonts provides the typefaces on our pages. Your browser loads them from Google, which receives your IP address when it does.
Unsplash supplies many of our photographs. These images load directly from Unsplash, which receives your IP address when they load.
YouTube hosts the videos in some of our stories. The preview image loads from YouTube when you view the story, which gives YouTube your IP address. The video itself only loads if you press play, using YouTube's privacy enhanced mode, and YouTube's own policies apply from then on.
Sharing buttons. Our share buttons do nothing until you press them. If you choose to share to Facebook, you are taken to Facebook, and its own policies apply. The Instagram, TikTok, and copy link buttons simply copy text to your device.
Stories may link to other websites. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information.
Keeping and Deleting Your Information
We keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed. To unsubscribe, or to ask us to see, correct, or delete the email address we hold for you, write to hello@suite646.com and we will take care of it promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we will honor requests made under them.
Children
Suite 646 is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
