Marco Carola brings Music On to New York for the first time as the Brooklyn room wraps its first outdoor run October 16 to 18
The air turns at 140 Stewart Avenue in the second week of October. The open-air room holds heat a little longer than the street outside it. Bodies do the rest. This is the part of the season every outdoor room in New York dreads and lives for, the last warm weekends. The open sky has a closing date in Brooklyn.
A year ago this address was a bankruptcy filing. The Brooklyn Mirage never reopened in 2025 after its renovation failed inspection, and its owner, Avant Gardner, went into Chapter 11. Now the room that rose from it ends its debut outdoor season with six nights across two weekends, and the posters carry some of the biggest names in house music.
The Closing Weekend runs October 16 to 18. Friday the 16th belongs to Marco Carola, who brings his Music On imprint to New York for the first time, joined by Franky Rizardo and Mason Collective. Saturday the 17th is Black Coffee, closing out his residency. Sunday the 18th, Carola returns alongside PAWSA to shut the outdoor season, 8 PM to 1 AM, as EDMTunes reported.
The timing is tight. Carola closes the sixth season of Music On Fridays at Pacha Ibiza with a double closing party on October 8 and 9, then carries the brand across the Atlantic. A week later it lands in Brooklyn. For a brand built on long Friday nights on the White Isle, a New York debut is a statement of intent.
Black Coffee helped open this room. He played the second night of opening weekend, June 21, right after Michael Bibi headlined on June 20. Four months later he closes his own residency on the same stage. Few DJs own a room the way he owns this one, and the booking reads like a signature at the bottom of the season.
The room itself is part of the draw. The Mirage built its reputation on production at a scale few outdoor rooms in America attempt. The failed 2025 renovation was supposed to wrap it in a 270-degree LED screen. Pacha inherited the ambition along with the address, and the debut season leaned into it, high-production shows with global headliners and local collectives on the same bills.

The speed of the turnaround is the real story. The renovation failed its inspections. Shows were canceled. Creditors fought over the bankruptcy. Axar Capital Management, which backed Avant Gardner through 2025, brokered the deal. Then FIVE Holdings, the Dubai company behind the Pacha brand, signed a long-term agreement to run the Mirage and the adjoining Great Hall. The announcement came February 3. The doors opened in June.
It is also a homecoming. Pacha ran a club in Hell's Kitchen for ten years until January 2016. Ten years later the cherries are back in New York, this time under open sky in East Williamsburg. Operators offered coupons worth the full original ticket price to fans caught up in the Mirage's refund mess, a smart piece of diplomacy in a borough with a long memory.

The season does not end quietly. The run-up includes Jamie Jones on October 9 and 50 Cent on October 10. Then Thursday, October 29 brings Vintage Culture and his Affairs concept to Brooklyn after a sold-out debut and a summer residency in Ibiza. Friday the 30th is Kaytranada, the Grammy winner whose sets move between house, funk, R&B and hip-hop, with cuts from Timeless. Halloween night itself belongs to Purple Disco Machine, fresh off a 13-night residency at Pacha Ibiza, bringing disco-house to close the outdoor chapter.
After that the sky closes and the walls come in. Brooklyn Pacha, the indoor room, runs year-round. The indoor calendar already lists the Nervous Records 35th anniversary, Miss Monique, Madeon, Guy Gerber, Mathame, Nic Fanciulli and Nora En Pure, with SOSA opening the new year on January 2. The outdoor season was the proof of concept. The indoor season is the long game.
When the open air ends, the city goes back inside, to rooms that treat darkness as a craft, some of them handing out membership cards at the door. Pacha is betting the same instinct works at festival scale. Six nights. Then the cherries move inside.
