Ariana Madix will play Connie Francis in the Broadway musical Just in Time through Saturday, November 28, one week past her original end date, producers announced on Tuesday, October 20.

West 50th Street has a new date to circle. Just in Time plays Circle in the Square Theatre at 235 West 50th Street, where the audience wraps around three sides of the stage, and the Bobby Darin musical is having a strong fall.

BroadwayWorld reported the extension on Tuesday. Broadway News carried the same news, first reported by Broadway.com.

How Long Is Madix Staying?

Her engagement was set at ten weeks and was due to end on Sunday, November 22, according to Broadway News. Her new final performance is Saturday, November 28, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

The producers, Tom Kirdahy and Robert Ahrens, said Madix "has been earning standing ovations nightly for her stunning performance as Connie Francis." They added that the extension will give "even more audiences the chance to see her incredible star power live on stage."

That is a producer's description, not a critic's, and it should be read as one.

Her new final performance is Saturday, November 28, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Who Is Ariana Madix?

Madix is best known for television. Broadway News lists Vanderpump Rules, St. Denis Medical, Will Trent and Anger Management among her screen credits. She finished third on Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars and is a 2026 Emmy nominee for hosting Love Island USA.

Just in Time is not her first Broadway job. She made her debut in 2024 as Roxie Hart in Chicago.

What Else Is Changing in the Cast?

The Bobby Darin role is the busy one. Matthew Morrison returned as Darin on October 20, with Tristen Buettel as Sandra Dee, and both are set to play through Sunday, November 8, BroadwayWorld reports.

Nicholas Christopher takes over as Darin on Tuesday, November 10. Sadie Dickerson comes back as Sandra Dee for a three-week encore, and Whitney Leavitt returns in the role from December 1 through January 10, 2027.

How Is the Show Selling?

Just in Time grossed $1.04 million last week, putting it back in Broadway's $1 Million Club for the first time since its original star, Jonathan Groff, left, Playbill reports. That was the week Jeremy Jordan played his final performance as Darin, on October 18.

The show played to 102.81 percent of capacity, the top figure in Playbill's list of houses above 90 percent, with standing-room-only crowds. Its average ticket was $182.51, more than $50 above the Broadway average.

Broadway as a whole had a quieter week. Playbill counts 30 running shows grossing $33.96 million, down just under 4 percent from the week before. Attendance rose more than 4 percent, and the average ticket fell more than $10 to $131.05.

What Is the Show?

Just in Time follows Bobby Darin's career, highs and lows, with a live onstage band playing hits such as "Beyond the Sea," "Splish Splash," "Dream Lover" and "Mack the Knife." Alex Timbers, a Tony winner, developed and directed it.

Madix plays Connie Francis, the pop singer who was Darin's early love. The company also includes Debbie Gravitte as Polly and Emily Bergl as Nina and Mary, Broadway News says.

What to Know Before You Go

Madix's last performance is Saturday, November 28. Just in Time is booking through Sunday, February 7, 2027, at Circle in the Square, 235 West 50th Street, according to BroadwayWorld. Starting prices differ within BroadwayWorld's own listing, so check the box office for the night you want.

The producers have not said whether more extensions are planned. For now, November 28 is the date.

One extra week is not much. On Broadway, it is the difference between a goodbye and a second bow.
