The Hundredth Night, LCD Soundsystem Returns to Queens and Brooklyn
The band books 12 shows across two boroughs this winter, with the 100th night of its New York residencies set for November 30 at Brooklyn Steel

Some bands tour. LCD Soundsystem keeps an appointment with New York every winter, and this year the appointment has a number on it.
The band has announced a 12-show residency for the holiday season, and one of those nights is a landmark. According to Pollstar, the November 30 show at Brooklyn Steel is the 100th show of the band's New York residencies. Tickets went on general sale Friday, October 9, at 10 a.m. Eastern through AXS.
The Map of the Run
The shows are split between two rooms. The Knockdown Center in Queens hosts the first and last stretches, November 19 to 22 and December 10 to 13. In between, the band moves to Brooklyn Steel for November 30 and December 1 through 3.
That makes eight nights in Queens and four in Brooklyn. The Bowery Presents is producing the run, per Pollstar.
Consequence reports that this is the band's sixth consecutive holiday residency in the city. The run began in 2017 and has happened every year since 2021, the outlet says. TicketNews traces the Brooklyn Steel connection back to the venue's opening week in 2017.

What the Hundredth Night Means
The November 30 show carries a charity pledge. Pollstar reports that the band will donate 100 percent of ticket proceeds from that night to a charity that has not yet been named. Consequence says the beneficiary will be announced in the coming weeks.
NME says the night will be a blowout with guests and DJs. Pollstar and Consequence both add that the run will include live openers and afterparties with DJ sets from special guests. Neither outlet names the openers or the guests.
It is a fitting way to count to 100. Stay in one city, change the rooms, and let people come back.
A Room With a Memory
The band does remember what it plays. NME notes that last year's 12 dates were all at the Knockdown Center, where the group performed "Too Much Love" for the first time in 14 years. That is the kind of detail that keeps people buying tickets for a second and third night.
NME also notes that LCD Soundsystem has not released an album since American Dream in 2017, and that frontman James Murphy has said "there is no finished LP yet." So the residency is the product here. New York gets the band, and the band gets to stay put.
Next year the room gets much bigger. NME reports that the band will open for Harry Styles in Rome in the summer of 2027. For the holiday stretch, though, the band is home.
