Thirty-Seven on Mulberry, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Torrisi
The newlyweds mark the Chiefs star's birthday over dinner in Nolita, and he keeps the present to himself

A Monday night on Mulberry Street. A car waits at the curb outside the Puck Building, and a tall man in a dark cardigan helps his wife out of it, her hand in his. Travis Kelce is 37 today. Taylor Swift is with him. The restaurant is Torrisi.
The couple were photographed arriving for dinner on October 5, Kelce's birthday, according to E! News and several other outlets. It was a plain enough plan. Dinner for two, then the car home. In New York, with these two, plain is relative.
Black Lace and a Grey Cardigan
E! News described Swift in an all-black look, a lace dress under an oversized leather jacket, with strappy heels, a black leather bag and red lipstick. Kelce wore black slacks and dress shoes with a dark grey cardigan buttoned over a white tee, plus a necklace. He guided her to and from the car. Marca noted the hand-holding, which by now is practically a house style of its own.
Torrisi is a good room for a birthday you would rather not make a fuss about. The restaurant sits inside the Puck Building at 275 Mulberry Street in Nolita, under vaulted ceilings, and it serves an Italian menu with a strong sense of old New York. It also keeps an adults-only dining room, which counts for something on a night when the cameras are waiting outside.
Swift is 36. Her Encore to The Life of a Showgirl, released September 25, includes a song called Cleveland! for the Kelce brothers' hometown, according to E! News. The two married in July at Madison Square Garden, the arena that tends to show up in every big New York story eventually, including Phish's plan for a hundredth night there. The wedding gave the city a central role in their year. A birthday dinner downtown is a quieter footnote to it.
The Arsenal of Desserts
Kelce gave a little of the evening away two days later on New Heights, the podcast he hosts with his brother Jason Kelce. The Wednesday, October 7 episode found him in a generous mood about the food and a guarded one about everything else.
"It was a good day, it was a fun day," he said, as quoted by Us Weekly. "Got some food out here in New York." He called Torrisi one of his favorite spots in the city.
There was no cake. Kelce admitted he is not big on birthdays, according to Mandatory. The restaurant made up for it. Marca quoted him on the sweets in detail.
"Torrisi's got some good desserts," Kelce said. "They brought out the entire arsenal."
He went on about a shaved espresso icing with ice cream and chocolate underneath, which he found strange and good in roughly equal measure, according to Marca's transcript. When Jason pushed for more, including what Swift gave him, he closed the subject.
"I would love to just keep it moving," he said, according to Us Weekly.
A Win Before the Bye
The real present, Kelce suggested, came a day early. The Chiefs beat the Las Vegas Raiders 30 to 27 on Sunday, October 4, which sent them into their bye week undefeated. Kelce said the victory was the best news he got around his birthday, and that a loss would have spoiled the whole thing.
"Losing ruins everyone's life," he said, in a line reported by both Us Weekly and Marca.
The bye week leaves him time. Kelce told the podcast he planned to spend the break working out and watching football and baseball, according to Marca. Kansas City is next scheduled to play the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 18, at Arrowhead Stadium.
The city has become a habit for him. During the Chiefs' bye week in November 2025, the couple spent time in New York, and Kelce came back talking about it on the same podcast.
"Got to feel the big city and its electricity and its buzz that it's got," he said then, according to E! News.
That was a man describing a visit. This week sounded more like a regular. He knows where he likes to eat. He knows what the kitchen sends out after dinner. And he knows enough, at 37, to keep the best part of the night to himself.
